ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH touches all of our lives, from the air we breathe to the water we drink and the communities we call home. It is a shared concern with both local and global impacts, but the burdens are not carried equally. Communities that have long faced disinvestment, exclusion, and historic harm often bear the greatest risks. Our work is rooted in the belief that we can build healthier, more resilient communities for everyone by centering the people most affected and learning from their leadership.
ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE SOLIDARITY STATEMENT
Change the Chamber (CTC), in its work to champion environmental justice, stands in solidarity with marginalized communities including, but not limited to, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), low-income individuals, people with disabilities, women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and immigrants.
